In our continued efforts to expand access to counseling services across Alabama, we are excited to announce the opening of a Family Life Center office in Athens Alabama! The new Family Life Center office is located at 503 South Jefferson Street, Athens, AL 35611.

Beginning April 8th, you can reach out to our staff at the new Athens location by calling 256-216-3917 during our business hours of 8 AM to 5 PM.

Family Life Center – Athens Location Resources
Our office location in Athens will be open 5 days a week from 8 am to 5 pm.
As with our other office locations, our Athens office will offer therapeutic counseling through a variety of treatment modalities which include individual counseling and group counseling.
All of our services are staffed with highly qualified clinicians, including:
- Masters level, licensed social workers
- Licensed and certified counselors
- Certified addictions counselors
- Dedicated support staff.
Educational and therapeutic groups are also offered for:
- Substance & alcohol use disorder
- Domestic violence prevention
- Employee assistance programs are designed to assist companies in protecting their most valuable asset, their employees
When a client is referred to Family Life Center by an outside source or self-referred, our counselors conduct a comprehensive assessment using the DMH Placement Assessment to determine the appropriate treatment placement, including, where necessary, the severity of the addiction.
