Family Life Center is a nonprofit treatment program for those with or at risk of drug and alcohol problems with administrative offices in Fort Payne, Alabama, and a variety of locations serving local communities across northern Alabama.
Our mission is to provide effective, quality counseling, offering optional faith-based counseling to those who desire to incorporate his or her faith and spirituality in recovery.
Counseling Services
At Family Life Center, we offer therapeutic counseling in a variety of treatment modalities: individual counseling and group counseling.
All of our services are staffed with highly qualified clinicians, including:
- Masters level, licensed social workers
- Licensed and certified counselors
- Certified addictions counselors
- Dedicated support staff.
Educational and therapeutic groups are also offered for:
- Substance & alcohol use disorder
- Domestic violence prevention
- Employee assistance programs are designed to assist companies in protecting their most valuable asset, their employees
When a client is referred to Family Life Center by an outside source or self-referred, our counselors conduct a comprehensive assessment using the DMH Placement Assessment to determine the appropriate treatment placement, including, where necessary, the severity of the addiction.
